The Debenham Village Hall and Playing Field Trust (DVH&PFT) is a well-established charitable trust which manages the Leisure Centre. Debenham is a former winner of the Sports Council’s service to Sport Award and has been highly successful in obtaining sports and arts grants from the District and County Councils, the Foundation for Sport and the Arts, Sportsmatch, the Lottery and the private sector. Probably the finest facility of its kind in Suffolk.
The unique facilities comprises a Function hall & arts venue, two lounges, two bars, food prep area, sports hall, fitness room, squash courts, sauna, bowls green, tennis courts, football pitches and a floodlit multi-use-games-area (7-a-side astroturf pitch). There is also a flourishing sports, arts, and entertainment programme. Zeera Indian Restaurant and Takeaway open 5pm everyday except Mondays (01728 861556)
Squash & Racketball
Members can book online here … Not only do we have 2 glass-backed courts, we also have an England Squash qualified coach to teach you the correct way to play.
